A native of New York City, Tim Stokes earned a B.A. from Hampshire College with a concentration in Urban Design and an M. Arch from UC Berkeley. He has been designing and building his own projects for nearly 30 years. In 2001, he became a Registered Architect in Vermont, and has held Contractor’s licenses in several states. He has held a Contractors license in Massachusetts since 2003.

Tim and his crew have executed a large range of residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects. His skill as a designer coupled with his thorough understanding of construction systems and costs allows him to offer a unique and comprehensive service to clients. He uses both traditional and sustainable building practices including recycled and salvage materials, non-toxic finishes, energy efficiency, and thoughtful renovation of existing buildings.
